Podcast on how to undertake an absence review meeting with staff who are on long term sick

One of our clients contacted us with concerns about their apprentices, they were not performing the job properly and were often late or absent.

It’s important to remember that an apprentice is still an employee, there is still a contract of employment in place for this person.  it is also important to remember that an apprentice is often a young person in their first job and may not have a great understanding of what is expected of them.

Here is our podcast on how to manage this situation should it arise in your setting.  Enjoy!
